Beneixama

Beneixama is a lively village of aproximately 1800 people.  Facilities include a new infants / junior school, four resturaunts, a pension bar, four grocery shops, two bakeries, a butchers, 24 hour petrol station, three churches and many other speciallest stores including a fresh fish counter three dsys per week.

The annual Moors and Christian fiesta tskes place in early September and lasts five days.  Other activities include an October fest, motocross, cycling club, yoga, painting classes, christian festivals and walking events.

Two kilometers from the main village and passing the amazing Resturaunt Mariola  is the Hamlet of El Salze with the remains of a monestry now a beautiful church.  Several marked walking routes go direcrly through or origionate at Beneixama and El Salse.
