Description complète

This magnificent 4 bedroom detached villa lies in a secure, quiet cul-de-sac between Neo Chorio and Latchi Marina STUNNING VIEWS over Polis Bay and is 200 metres to the sea. LARGE ROOF TERRACE. Title Deeds and fully Furnished.

This superb property lies on the edge of the Akamas National Park and is less than 5 minutes drive to the upmarket marina of Latchi with its exciting water sports and numerous shops and tavernas.

There are two entrances to the property. The second is via double gates which lead to a covered car port. A covered parking area is essential in Cyprus especially during the summer in view of the unrelenting Mediterranean sun.

The first entrance is along an attractive path which leads to an arched porch and then the imposing front door

Once through the front door the quality of the finishes and construction is immediately apparent. From the marble floors to the polished wooden staircase and the breath-taking crystal chandeliers, the whole property oozes class.

To the right of the front door is the generously sized lounge and this is where the chandeliers can first be noticed. In the corner is a fireplace and 3 sets of patio doors lead from the lounge to the covered veranda and as soon as you step onto that veranda the only reaction is WOW. In all of our years of marketing property here in Cyprus it is difficult to remember a more spectacular view than this. This view takes in Polis Bay from Latchi all the way round to Pomos in the east.

While on the subject of views we ought to point out the magnificent ROOF TERRACE. What it remarkable about this terrace is that it provides views to the north, east and south. So for those who wish to follow the sun during the day it is ideal and for others who wish to enjoy the spectacular Mediterranean sunset there is the balcony from the master bedroom from which to enjoy it.

The kitchen, which adjoins the lounge is ideal for the serious culinary artist who wishes to experiment with traditional Cypriot cooking or continue preparing meals with which they are familiar. Features of the kitchen are polished wood floors and granite worktops, double sink and very high beamed ceilings. White goods include a NEFF double oven, a 5 ring MIELE gas hob and a BOSCH fridge/freezer. The MIELE dish washer and BOSCH washing machine are hidden behind wood effect doors to enhance the streamlined appearance of the kitchen. Two windows lie above the sinks to allow as much light as possible into the room.

The dining area currently has, amongst other things, a top quality wooden dining table large enough to easily accommodate 8 people.

Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and these are separated from the main living area by a very strategically placed sliding door.

The first of these two bedrooms is south facing has an en-suite shower room and a large window offering delightful views over the beautifully landscaped garden. The beauty of this en- suite shower room is that it can be accessed from both the bedroom and the corridor.

The second, north-facing bedroom has wardrobes with highly unusual mirrored doors, an en-suite shower room with bidet, and patio doors leading to the pool and covered veranda.

The 3rd and 4th bedrooms are on the first floor. The south facing bedroom has an attractive en-suite shower room and its own private balcony offering superb mountain views as well as a beautiful high beamed ceiling

The 4th bedroom – the master- has an en suite shower room , a private balcony giving the most stunning sea views and, as with the other rooms, a high beamed wooden ceiling as well as delightful subdued lighting.

All bathrooms have underfloor heating

There is plenty of storage space on the landing, and it is from the landing that the amazing roof terrace can be reached. Incidentally the roof terrace has plenty of lighting and electric power points so it is ideal for maybe a drinks party or a BBQ and the chance to enjoy the wonderful Cyprus food -cooked as nature intended.

The large covered veranda, downstairs, has already been mentioned and it overlooks the delightful and large pool which is enhanced by the very useful addition of Roman Steps. The pool area and the entire garden has lighting after dark giving it an almost magical quality.

The garden itself is landscaped, easily maintained and has numerous attractive shrubs and plants as well as a wooden bridge to add to the garden’s appeal.

Other features which should be noted are the stone wall which surrounds the gardens both front and back, the extensive use of archways both inside and outside of the property, and the stone columns which give extra character to the covered veranda.

In Latchi Marina there are a wide range of restaurants, many serving freshly caught fish. The Marina has a wide range of water sports activities, or you can relax and take a boat trip the to the well-known Blue Lagoon with its sparkling waters – take a swim and then enjoy a traditional Cypriot BBQ on the boat.

Polis is a traditional town with paved streets and has a quiet friendly atmosphere. The town has a full range of facilities including supermarkets, a hospital and a wide range of bars and restaurants, many serving traditional Cypriot food. Polis also has the benefit of a popular sandy beach.

The Polis/ Latchi area is the only area in Cyprus, where the beach meets a backdrop of mountains, and the forest backdrop of the unique Akamas Peninsula National Park - offering beautiful picturesque scenery.
