The property sits back from the country lane and has a nice flat plot that wraps around the property. Upon entering through the gated driveway, we can take the car right up to the property and park underneath the carport that there is to the side.
There are three different entrances to the house, one leading into the living which is what would be classed as the front door and the other two both go into the dining, one from the back and the other to the front.
If we enter via the front entrance we have the living room which has two large windows making it double aspect. From here we go through to a hallway which has two bedrooms coming off of it, one has a large window and the other sliding doors out onto the porch. Off of this corridor we have the kitchen and then the bathroom which is a good size with a bathtub with the shower over the top.
The kitchen is also a good size and has a large window above the sink. Here there is a door leading to the dining room. To make this room bigger, the wall dividing the kitchen and the dining room could be removed and made inot a good size kitchen diner with patio doors leading outside. The loft space has good head hight and could easily be converted into a large master suite with a walk in wardrobe and a large bathroom.

The property’s land has various fruit trees and the land measures around 4480sqm. The lands bounndaries are very clear as most of the land is fenced. The location is very peaceful and it feels like you are in your own private part of the village but there is the advantage that it is still walking distance to a café.
The larger town of Tomar, which has supermarkets, shops, builders merchants, cafes, restaurants, health centres, schools, a weekly market, swimming pools and historic Convento do Cristo and Castle constructed by the Knight Templars in the 12th century is around 15 minutes away.
Castelo do Bode lake, Portugal’s second largest reservoir is around 30 minutes from the property. This lake is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including swimming, sailing, canoeing, scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing. The lake is also a haven for wildlife and there are many river beaches close to the property, ideal for relaxing sunny days at the water’s edge.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one hour and a quarter drive from the property, though it is possible to utilize either train or bus for this journey. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
