The show must go on...line

Due to the current circumstances, and with the safety of our visitors and exhibitors foremost in our minds, we will not be running our regular A Place in the Sun Live exhibitions this Autumn  - the world has changed and so have we!

Instead, we are bringing you all the fun, inspiration and insight of an exhibition... online. Talk to our exhibitors in live chats, take part in our seminar sessions and presenter Q&As, join us on virtual tours of fantastic properties in popular destinations - all the elements of a live exhibition in a safe environment.

Prepare yourself now for when you can fly out to view and buy.

Join the Digital Event now

Make September the month you turn your dream of buying an overseas property into reality. Join a series of free-to-attend webinars and book private meetings with our exhibitors, real estate professionals from around the world ready to help you reach your goal of owning an overseas property.

All from the comfort of your own home.

Put your questions to Jonnie, Jasmine and Laura then let the team from A Place in the Sun Ltd introduce you to the appropriate exhibitors and services for where you are planning to buy.

So whether it’s Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus or Florida, we’ve got it covered with our webinar programme;

  • Understand the buying process and meet lawyers who can act for you

Get the latest pricing information and access discounted properties from estate agents in the most popular locations

  • Join us on a series of ‘Property Hunts’ with video walk-throughs of three properties and then vote for your favourite
  • Money talks; mortgage availability, how to save on currency transfers and insider tips on negotiating a property purchase
  • Relocating permanently? Speak to the experts on everything from residency pre and post-Brexit to pensions, tax and healthcare
  • What’s it like to own an overseas property? Meet the buyers to find out what they wish they had known before starting out

Then you’re all set to get yourself to Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus or Florida and start looking at properties. And the exhibitors you meet are precisely the people who can make this happen.

How it works

Our event runs throughout September, is made up of three elements and is easy to access;

  • a programme of webinars throughout September, free-to-attend, where you can put your questions to our panels of experts.
  • a booking system for you to meet a range of exhibitors made up of estate agents, property and residency lawyers, wealth management and currency transfer specialists who can all contribute to moving your plans forward.
  • A Place in the Sun helpdesk to make sure you can log-in, see the webinars you want to catch and book meetings with the relevant exhibitors.

Health and Safety Update

We are in close communication with the Manchester Central venue team to monitor the on-going situation and, following current direction from the UK Government and health organisations and the current low risk levels to individuals, the event will be continuing and Manchester Central remains open for events.

Manchester Central are putting in place a series of measures to protect visitors and have communicated the following to us as their current position:

  • The safety and security of visitors to our venue is our upmost priority
  • Manchester Central remains fully open for business, with all events going ahead as planned
  • While the UK risk level of Coronavirus is moderate, the risk to individuals remains low
  • We have installed signage in all toilets and digital screens across the venue advising staff and visitors on the importance of maintaining good hand and personal hygiene
  • Sanitising stations with dispensers are being made available around the venue to supplement the hand cleaning products in all toilet facilities
  • Our onsite first aid team have been fully briefed and have plans in place to deal with anyone reporting symptoms and believes they may have been in contact with the virus
  • We are continuing to monitor advice from the Department of Health and Social Care, Public Health England and World Health Organisation.

hope that helps but please do contact us on [email protected] if you need any more information or help,

We look forward to seeing you this weekend!
