Is my ticket valid for any of the show days?
All tickets are valid for any day entry into the exhibition. If you want to come on more that one day please speak to the box office on arrival.
Can I leave the exhibition and re-enter later in the day?
Yes. You may leave the show and come back any time before 5pm, just make sure you get a hand stamp from the door security before leaving.
How do I obtain a show guide?
You can pick up your complimentary A Place in the Sun Live show guide as you enter the show along with a free copy of the latest issue of A Place in the Sun magazine.
When do you announce the exhibitor list?
We will announce the exhibitor list about one month before the event date.
When do you announce the seminar timetables?
We will announce the seminar timetable about one month before the event date.
Do I need to book to attend a seminar or presentation?
No. Seminar places are allocated on a first come first served basis but they fill up quickly so you will need to arrive early to secure a place.
Do I need to pay extra to attend a seminar or presentation?
No. Once you are in the exhibition all seminars and presentations are free.
Are there refreshments on site?
Yes. There is a cafe where you can buy tea, coffee and soft drinks as well as light snacks.
Does the NEC have WiFi access?
Yes. The NEC provides free wireless hotspots in the public areas for visitors and in a number of selected catering outlets within the venues.
Does the NEC have disabled access?
Yes, the NEC is fully accessible for disabled visitors. For specific information please go to the venues website.
Are children allowed into the exhibition?
Children are allowed to attend and if they are under 16 years old, they may enter the exhibition free-of-charge with a ticketed adult.
How can I take a screen test for a chance to appear on the TV series?
The producers of the A Place in the Sun TV show will be in the central Hub area where you can take a screen test to appear on the TV show.
During the screen test you will be interviewed so be prepared with the details on where and what you would like to buy, your budget and some information about yourselves.
Only participants selected for the next stage will be contacted again after the exhibition.
