According to Spanish newspaper El País,film star Antonio Banderas is buying a sixth-floor penthouse in the city of Málaga - following the announcement of his separation from actress Melanie Griffith.
The Mask of Zorro star has reportedly chosen a bachelor pad on Calle Alcazabilla - a popular street in the downtown district of the city, close to a cultural hub that includes the nearby Picasso museum and the city's old Customs House, which is being converted into the Museum of Málaga.
Banderas is a long-standing fan of the Costa del Sol, already owning a house in nearby Marbella with his estranged wife, Griffith - although, the fate of that home will likely be decided by the divorce settlement. This new Málaga home in heart of the city is apparently something the Hollywood actor has wanted for long time, a family friend of the star told El País.
