Live like an Olympian in Baltimore

Michael Phelps, the greatest Olympian of all time, has listed his waterfront (naturally) Baltimore bachelor pad for $1.42m.

The nineteen-times Olympic medal winner's home in the historic Fells Point neighbourhood has walls of glass overlooking Baltimore's Inner Harbour, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an open stairway which leads to the fifth floor roof terrace complete with garden and hot tub.

It has been described as 'a great place to eat, drink and party'

There is also an eat-in stainless steel kitchen with granite worktops and a two-car garage. He will be selling at a loss, having bought the property for $1.69 million in 2008.

Twenty-eight-year-old Phelps was announced as the most garlanded Olympian of all time on July 31st when he overtook Soviet gymnast Larissa Latynina for his 19th Olympic medal. And he did it in style, swimming the 4x200-metre freestyle anchor leg for the United States with a gold medal-winning performance.
