Meg Ryan lists Bel Air mansion

Actress Meg Ryan has listed her 'Spanish style' mansion in Bel Air for the fifth time since 2008, this time with a reduced asking price of $11,400,000.

Property records show that Ryan purchased the Californian property in October 2000, paying $8,500,000 for the multi-winged, two-storey 1930's mansion. She first attempted to sell back in October 2008, approaching Ben Affleck and the Beckhams without any luck. The home was then listed for $19,500,000, eventually dropped to $14,200,000 and then advertised as a rental for an eye watering $40,000 a month. This price was then slashed and Diane Keaton moved in, renting the pad for an undisclosed monthly sum.

Measuring 6,877 square feet, the house has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms plus additional living/sleeping quarters in a detached guest house near the swimming pool. Features include dark hardwood floors, hand-stencilled and painted ceilings, vintage tiles, wrought iron details, dozens of archways, and French doors that spill out to various patios and terraces.

There is also a formal living room with character fireplace, a formal dining room, a bar, a cinema screening room and a massive kitchen which no doubt has hosted some pretty starry A-list parties. Ryan's neighbours include legends Clint Eastwood and Robert Redford and director and fashion designer Tom Ford.
