New ski homes in Austria launched

Austrian ski property specialists Alpine Marketing have launched a new residential development, featuring a selection of two and three bedroom apartments, in the Austrian ski resort of Bad Gastein.

The new Austrian homes are located in the centre of town, walking distance from the shops, restaurants and spa and are already built and ready to occupy. The apartments start from €179,000 (£153,700).

The belle epoque ski and spa resort of Bad Gastein is situated in the Gastein Valley, 70 minutes from Salzburg by car or train. Bad Gastein is also a spa town with natural thermal springs which rise from deep within the mountains so there are many swimming pools and spas for all the family to enjoy as well as relaxing saunas and steam rooms where people can be pampered.

The ski region is high altitude, reaching up to 2,685m, with over 40 modern lifts serving over 200 kilometres of pistes, which offers more skiing than resorts in Kitzbuhel, Obertauern, Schladming or Zell am See.

A spokesperson for Alpine Marketing said: “Bad Gastein is a true dual season resort with a particularly long tourist season so these apartments will also rent very well.”

She added: “The Chalet Gastein Apartments enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains, pastures, golf course and sunny valley.”
