Fuerteventura fanatics Nick and Pauline Patch from Staffordshire have been holidaying on the island for for the last nine years, and having fallen in love with its beaches and laid back charms, they are now planning to retire there in five years time. In the meantime, they’re looking for a holiday home that they can visit with their three grown up children and Pauline’s grandchild.
Since the global recession, prices in Fuerteventura have fallen dramatically and are now the cheapest in the Canaries, with discounts of between 20 and 50% for many homes. The couple have a budget of £125,000, and now could be a great time for them to snap up a bargain.
