Steve Cross has had a lifelong dream of living abroad, and - with help from presenter Sara - he's determined to relocate to Aude in the south of France.
It’s been a whirlwind couple of years for Steve and Sue Cross from Wolverhampton, who met online, moved in together within six months and tied the knot in front of their families just under a year ago. And they aren’t finished changing their lives yet. The couple are on the hunt for a dream retirement home in the Aude region of South-West France where they can grow their own food and make some money running a gite or B&B business once Steve hangs up his policeman’s helmet in five months time. Both Sue and Steve have individually dreamt of upping sticks for France for decades but now they’re together they feel they can finally make the leap. They have a budget of £150,000.
