Niel and Jean Soley met in 1997 in a car park, spent their wedding night in one in the back of a campervan, and are now looking to invest in somewhere a little bit more glamorous.
Having spent years travelling around Europe they had previously been stopped from buying a property by commitments at home, especially caring for Niel’s elderly mother. However, since she passed away last year they can now go ahead with their plans to find a holiday home which they will eventually relocate to.
They have fallen for Huelva in Andalucia, especially the largely undiscovered inland area. Most of the region is a national park which means that there are no high rises and some beautiful rural property, which costs around 40% less than the more popular Spanish market in the Costa del Sol.
The couple have a £210,000 budget to make their dreams of a 2/3 bedroom rural and isolated property with some land, a pool and an outhouse come true.
