With their joint savings of £65,000 they are hoping to pick up a bargain rural property (quite possibly a renovation project) in the Limousin region which will allow them to make friends with the locals and enjoy a more relaxed pace of life.
Our arty couple are also hoping that the area’s vivid landscapes will inspire their paintings. Will Sara be able to find them a house that’s as pretty as a picture, or will the whole property hunt be a surrealist nightmare?
