Jenny Allan is in a quandry. She feels that moving to the beautiful region of Provence in France will offer her the excitement she craves as well as somewhere to belong, and she hopes to establish herself there as an English teacher to help her get to know the local community. However, following her heart will put a huge distance between her and her family in the South of England. Which is why she is also exploring the idea of moving to Wiltshire where she can be nearer to her daughter Eve. She's lived all over the world, and still has a taste for adventure, but will a move to France be one move too many?
Home properties- Wiltshire
Wiltshire is very much a rural county located in the south west of England. It is a landlocked county, roughly in an oval shape and borders the counties of Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire. The expression "as different as chalk and cheese" origins apparently lie in Wiltshire. It is said to refer to the land divided by Hackpen Hill, on which the Hackpen horse is cut. The hill forms the boundary between the high chalk downs to the south of it and the clay cattle country to the north, where cheese is produced on the dairy farms. The two areas are therefore “as different as chalk and cheese”.

Away properties- Provence
Situated between the Mediterranean coastline and the Alps, the region is geographically diverse, and is also a historical area of interest- home to France's oldest city, Marseille, a bustling port with a lively local atmosphere. Provence is also blessed with a wild lavender which grows on the mountain plateaus above 800 metres. Never cultivated, it is always harvested by hand, and its essential oil commands premium prices from perfume manufacturers. Provençal culture, its legends and its folklore, is interwoven with the history of lavender.
