In 2005, A Place in the Sun Live was launched to give overseas estate agents, developers and professional service providers the opportunity to present their properties and services to British buyers face-to-face.

All visitors pay to come to the event, a clear display of serious intent to research properties and understand the buying process, with our visitor feedback showing a significant uplift in the number of people planning to purchase in the next six months. Our buyers are split 50/50 between those buying a holiday home and planning a permanent move overseas.

A significant number of exhibitors now regularly book stands at most of our events but there is always space available for new exhibitors to showcase their properties or professional services. 

A Place in the Sun Live - Seminars

The centrepiece of A Place in the Sun Live is The Hub where the stars of the TV show and industry experts give advice and insight on buying overseas property. This is where our key clients like to book premium stand locations and where our ever-popular seminar on buying in Spain takes place, a packed daily event to motivate and inspire.

The wide-ranging seminar programme is one of the main attractions for our audience and stretches across the Hub, the French Village, Florida Pavilion and a separate Seminar Theatre which covers buying property in other countries. The engaging content aims to explain how to buy and remove the obstacles to purchase that many people have.
