the story so far

As an Australian living in the UK, I suppose it was inevitable that one day I would get itchy feet and move on from Blighty. However, rather than doing the usual Antipodean stint of a couple of years of work and travel, before moving back to Aus to settle down, I found myself living in the UK for more than 12 years.

Newly married to my handsome British husband and, after a long time as an honorary Brit, I was looking for a change. The concept of moving back to Australia filled me with fear and dread. But where else could we go? Good friends of ours had recently moved to Dubai, and although they have found it challenging, we were drawn to the idea of doing the same and began hatching plans to make it happen.
